Paul Newman Loses Cancer Battle
Paul Newman, philanthropist and legendary movie star has died at the age of 83. The man with a twinkle in his eyes had an illustrious movie career that included classics such as The Hustler, The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Later in his career Newman became a successful race car driver, then went on to produce his own brand of salad dressings and other foods, donating the proceeds to charity. He is survived by his wife Joanne Woodward and five daughters. His only son died at the age of 29.
To say that he will be greatly missed is an understatement. Over the weekend his movies began to sell out in stores and today his company's website is operating at a reduced capacity due to increased traffic.
