Actor and adult comedian Rudy Ray Moore aka "Dolemite" passed away in Akron, Ohio at the age of 81 on Sunday. Rudy Ray Moore was a king of black adult comedy records during the sixties and seventies.
Moore was also an inspiration for contemporary music artists such as Luther Campell of 2 Live Crew who sampled his music. The comedian had been ill for some time and died of diabetes-related complications according to his daughter.
