Albany Wall of Shame
In sympathy to our vice president and his daughter the NY Daily News has published photos of sixteen Albany legislators who have been charged with crimes. Several bullets are listed below. Check the source link for the complete list.
- The Luv Gov. The list would not be complete without former NYS Governor Eliot Spitzer who resigned the position last year after being charged with soliciting prostitutes.
- Senator Hiram Monserrate. This charmer was indicted for slashing his lover's face with a broken glass while they were arguing. She says it was an accident. Perhaps she shouldn't have fallen into his glass.
- Former Senator Efrain Gonzalez. Indicted on charges of stealing $400,000 from a Bronx charity.
- Former Assemblyman Brian McLaughlin. This smooth operator pleaded guilty of embezzling over $2 million in state and labor funds.
- Former Senator Ada Smith. This fine specimen of a woman was convicted of harassment after she threw a cup of coffee in a staffer's face.
- Senator Kevin Parker. Punched a traffic agent in the face for giving him a parking ticket.
