Actors Boris Kodjoe and wife Nicole Ari Parker are on the cover of last week's Jet magazine with their two children.
Their princess was born with spina bifida which means her spine never closed properly. Little Sophie is able to walk and have normal bowel movements but her bladder does not open. She must be catheterized every three hours to relieve the pressure in her bladder.
Mr. and Mrs. Kodjoe founded Sophie's Voice Foundation in 2008 to support family outreach programs, prenatal education and surgical studies for children and adults with spina bifida. We wish them success in all their endeavors.
