Curtis Sliwa to Join WNYM

Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa has ended his career with WABC (770 AM) after eighteen years with the radio station. He said "WABC and I were not able to agree on an extension of my contract." John Batchelor will take over Sliwa's 9 PM - 1 AM slot beginning today.
Sliwa will continue his nightly broadcast to out-of-town affiliate stations that carry his show, from inside the WABC studios for two more weeks according to the Daily News. Source
