Michael Jackson's Doctor Charged
Dr. Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges yesterday in connection with the June 25 death of Michael Jackson. He was released on $75,000 bail. If convicted Murray faces up to four years in prison.
Murray is free to practice medicine. However, the judge at yesterday's hearing told him he does not want him sedating people.
Michael Jackson's parents and several siblings attended the hearing. Family members said four years is not enough for the man they accuse of killing the King of Pop. Murray admits that he gave Jackson propofol but maintains that he did not give him anything that should have killed him.
