What Ever Happened to Kashif?

During the eighties you could not listen to popular music without hearing Kashif's influence. He produced and wrote hit songs for artists like Barry White, Whitney Houston, George Benson and Kenny G. He recorded a few hits of his own including Lover Turn Me On and Help Yourself to My Love.

Kashif had not toured as a musician for more than twenty years but he recently had a successful Belgium tour for old time's sake. In preparation for the tour he said he had sessions with his vocal coach every day.

Kashif has found something that he loves more than music. He founded the Team iCare Foundation, a program to help foster children. Other than his foundation website there's not much information about the singer on the Internet but here's a little known fact courtesy of Jet magazine. Did you know that Kashif began his musical career in 1974 as a singer and keyboard player for B.T. Express?
