Rodney King Finds Love with Former Juror
Rodney King became the poster child for police brutality in the early nineties when a home video was released showing four white police officers beat the stuffing out of him following a high speed auto chase. Riots erupted when the officers were acquitted on use of excessive force charges.
King was later awarded a $3.8 million settlement. Cynthia Kelley is one of the jurors who decided on the settlement in 1994. She met King after the settlement was announced but both were married at the time. Each divorced since then and he contacted her four months ago. They say they're getting married.
