Doug E's Fresh Chicken & Waffles had its grand opening in Harlem several weeks ago. We know two people who tried the food and both said the chicken and waffles are good. It's a brand new establishment so we have to give them time to get organized.
Rapper Doug E Fresh had been threatening to open a restaurant for several years; and he owns several brownstones in Harlem according to the local newspaper. In 2008 they said he faced foreclosure on the properties. Things seem to be looking up for him. Best of luck to the "Human Beat Box."
