Krush Groove: Where Are They Now?
Was Krush Groove the coolest movie ever? The first film of hip-hop which inspired countless copycat movies is celebrating its 25th anniversary. To commemorate the milestone Black Voices website published a photo gallery and bios to update us on the cast.
Some of the Krush Groove actors have maintained high visibility since the movie debuted. That would be Blair Underwood, Russell Simmons, Rick Rubin, LL Cool J, and Run Simmons and Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC. Their DJ Jam Master Jay was killed several years ago and no arrest has been made.
