Debrett's Halloween Etiquette

The ghouls and goblins hit the streets this weekend but who knew there was such thing as Halloween etiquette? Debrett's is Britain's authority on etiquette. They began in the late 18th century as a guide to England's aristocracy.

Halloween did not become popular in Britain until the new millennium; so Debrett's was tasked to articulate proper behavior for trick or treaters. The tips are practical but we do want to emphasize safety.

Check the source link to see what Debrett's says about Halloween. They are an authority on manners so it won't hurt to check their website for useful information in other areas as well.
