McGhee Sextuplets in Columbus, Ohio

An email photo of an African American family with sextuplets is making the rounds. The infants are nestled on and around their father who is lying on the floor. The parents Mia and Rozonno McGhee were recently on Good Morning America.

The McGhees were married for eleven years and spent five of those years trying to conceive before resorting to fertility drugs. This was the second pregnancy for Mrs. McGhee and the first birth. It was the first sextuplet delivery in Columbus.

On June 9 the couple had seven babies: four boys and three girls. One daughter was stillborn. The six surviving babies weighed between 1.5 and 2 pounds each and went home from the hospital in August. All are healthy and happy as you can see in the family photo.
