Mindset Media ad agency conducted a marketing survey among 25,000 TV viewers in order to analyze the correlation between what they watch on TV and their personality traits. Several sample conclusions are listed below courtesy of yesterday's print edition of the NY Post.

Personality Traits
  • FAMILY GUY fans tend to be rebels.
  • THE OFFICE fans tend to have feelings of superiority over others.
  • REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY fans are more concerned with honesty than with keeping the peace.
  • MAD MEN fans are dreamers rather than realists.
  • DANCING WITH THE STARS fans don't like to rock the boat.
