The Garabedian's Christmas House on Pelham Parkway
If you live in the Bronx you've probably heard about the Christmas House at 1605 Pelham Parkway. For more than 30 years the Garabedian family has hosted an annual extravaganza in their front yard.
We pasted links to websites that tell you everything you want to know about the tradition except for specific information related to the miracle that motivates the family to do this every year. They want to keep that secret to themselves.
If you want to know how many lights, figures or Christmas trees are in the display, the Trivia link maps to a NY Post article that gives the numbers for 2004. Scroll down to the bottom of the story to read the fun facts; but bear in mind that the production grows each year.
The family says their neighbors don't complain about the commotion but we've heard otherwise about Pelham Parkway drivers who endure considerable traffic congestion due to rubber-necking. Check the source links for photos.
