Canarsie Christmas House
The Garabedian family is not the only one who turns their Bronx home into a Christmas spectacle each year. In Brooklyn Frank Seddio inherited a Christmas lights tradition that the home's previous owner began in 1963. Every year it gets bigger.
Seddio says he has enough juice to power the whole block. He needs twenty family members to help him decorate his house and they start in October. This year they have a wreath on the roof with 11,000 lights.
The annual event is big news in Canarsie. The family doesn't have a strong Internet presence like the Garabedians but the Daily News has two really good photos. Check the source link. Is that a ferris wheel in the first photo?
