Fab of Milli Vanilli Still Going Strong

Can you believe it's been twenty years since Milli Vanilli won the best new artist Grammy and then had it revoked when a lip-synching malfunction led to the disclosure that they were a public face for studio musicians?

It turned out that their big hits Girl You Know It's True and Blame It on the Rain were recorded by someone else. After the scandal Arsenio Hall invited the singers Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan on his show to sing. They didn't sound like the studio musicians but they could sing.

Pilatus never recovered from the embarrassment. On a TV bio he admitted that he had been in and out of drug rehab treatment centers quite a few times. In 1998 he was found in a Frankfurt hotel room dead from an overdose of pills and alcohol at the age of 32.

Morvan, 44,  has continued his singing career as a solo artist. Today he lives in Amsterdam where he sings, hosts a radio show and has a movie in the works. People magazine posted a video of him rehearsing Girl You Know It's True ... with his new group. Check the source links.
