Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes Singer Dies
Singer Bernie Wilson of Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes died in New Jersey on Sunday, following a heart attack and stroke, at the age of 64. He provided baritone vocals on classic hits that include Bad Luck, If You Don't Know Me By Now and The Love I Lost.
Mr. Wilson performed up until the last few years of his life according to his cousin. His death leaves Lloyd Parks as the sole founding member in the current group. After Harold Melvin died they shortened their name to The Blue Notes and Sharon Paige returned to perform with them.
Fans were also saddened by the death of former group member Teddy Pendergress who died this January. Source
